first christmas

spent christmas eve with the gormans. christmas day was spent at home just our little family. got lots of presents from family and friends. although more interested in the wrapping paper and tissue paper.

rolled from front to back at play group today!!

put herself to sleep for nap time. i could tell she was tired but didn't want to nurse or be rocked so i laid her down in her crib and went downstairs. she talked and whined for a few then was drifted off to sleep. still only slept for 40 minutes but i'll take whatever i can get.

still likes standing

uses both hands for playing

likes exersaucer and bouncer

still dislikes the bottle

has given up pacifier

would rather suck on fabric

first thanksgiving

visited the McCarney family then dinner at grandma's house with the gorman/flynns.

first taste of solid foods - mashed potatoes. actually seemed to be interested.

also wore shoes for the first time. harness boots actually. pretty stylin'!!

grandma woods visit

grandma wood got a chance to spend the week with us. she brought with her a little navajo girl named louvina. it was great to have some help for the week and zach and i got to go out to dinner a few times by ourselves.

likes to pull herself up to stand!! so strong.

likes alaska crinkle book from grandma. a few other toys are holding her interest now too.

dislikes the pacifier now but prefers to chew on her hands and blankets.

finding her voice and telling lots of "stories"
